Phil Pardell

Phil Pardell began his music career in 1995 by studying and performing a variety of styles with some of Southern California’s best musicians. He moved to Philadelphia in 2003, and in 2007, he graduated from the University of the Arts, with a Bachelors of Music in Instrumental Jazz Studies. During and following his years at UARTS, Phil sharpened his teeth performing with Philadelphia’s finest musicians in a variety of styles ranging from avant-garde jazz and Brazilian batucada, to progressive indie rock and shoe gaze. In 2011, Phil moved back to San Diego County, and by 2013, took on the role of lead Drum Instructor at the School of Rock Oceanside. Phil currently makes a living teaching private lessons, recording, and performing as a session musician. You can catch Phil performing locally with Cassie B Project, JB & the Movers, The Tommy Mitchell Show, Cathouse Thursday, and Charlotte Littlehales.
